27.03.22 - Update to 4.4.1 release - Now compiled with ALTIVEC support ! - use new openssl.library - delete libxvid support - builing with GCC 11.2
24.04.21 - update to 4.4 release - delete SDL2 dependency on ffmpeg - add xvid, fribidi libraries
I included a lot of external libraries : - libmodplug - libfreetype - libfribidi - libopus - libvorbis - libwebp - libtheora - libmp3lame (with altivec support) - openssl (from SDK) - lzma (from SDK) - png (from SDK) - bzlib - zlib (from SDK) - libx264 (with altivec support) - libfdk-acc - libharfbuzz (SDK) - libxvid (with altivec support)
Lot of sources were taken from SDK, Wayfarer, AmigaOS4 port and Mplayer (fab) sources.

I have suggested on meta-morphos to Papiosaur to write a graphical interface for ffplay. Who, him or you, will look into writing this one ?

How is compiled ffplay, only with altivec or without, generic ?

terminating with Ctrl-C actually makes ffmpeg stop encoding but not terminate.
