Modulo is a 3D solid modeler for MorphOS, built on the OpenCASCADE
Technology (OCCT) geometry kernel. It uses a MUI interface with a
3D viewport that renders in software (works everywhere) or, optionally,
hardware-accelerated through TinyGL / Warp3D.
FEATURES
Modeling (OCCT kernel)
- Primitives: box, sphere, cylinder, cone, torus, wedge
(with editable dimensions on creation)
- Boolean: fuse, cut, common (between two selected objects)
- Modify: fillet, chamfer, shell (hollow), linear/circular array
- Transform: move, rotate, scale, mirror, duplicate
- Measure: exact volume, surface area and center of mass
- Properties panel: editable X/Y/Z position and W/H/D size of the
selected object (type in the field or use the wheel)

- Native project format: BREP (exact OpenCASCADE B-rep geometry)
- STEP (AP214) import and export - exact geometry, CAD interchange
- Export: STL (ASCII), OBJ
- Import: STL (ASCII + binary, auto-detected), OBJ (with colours)
- Save / Save As, current-file title with a modified marker
- Drag & drop: drop a .brep / .step / .stl / .obj icon to load it

- Software renderer (z-buffered, double-buffered, flicker-free) OR
hardware TinyGL (View / Hardware) with orthographic or perspective

INSTALLATION
Copy the "Modulo" executable anywhere. The "models" drawer holds
sample 3D objects (box, tetrahedron, octahedron, icosahedron, torus)
in OBJ and STL formats for testing import and drag & drop.
NOTES
Importing an STL or OBJ produces a mesh only (no exact B-rep), so
"Save BREP" stays disabled until the object is rebuilt from a
primitive or a boolean operation.
REGISTRATION & DONATION
Modulo is donationware. The demo lets you try every feature; only the
file outputs are reserved for registered users:
- Saving (BREP) and exporting (STEP / STL / OBJ) are demo-disabled.
- Modelling, viewing, measuring and importing are free.
- The title bar shows "Modulo Demo" until the program is registered.
Registration is by donation - give what you want, minimum 5 euros.
